Kneaded erasers are great for gentle erasing, highlighting, and just plain fun for fiddling with while you think.

The Seed eraser is a little different from the gray and colored types you've seen.  It is a little harder, especially compared to the newer "sticky" variety and it is bright white, rather than gray.
